Google Calendar Sync for Real Estate Brokerages

Each agent connects their own Google Calendar and RealtySlate writes their deadlines, appointments and follow-ups into a separate calendar named RealtySlate. Changes appear in about a minute, and cancellations are removed rather than left sitting there.

What moves between them

Setting it up

Connect Google Calendar in a few minutes

Every RealtySlate integration is configured from the Connections area by an authorized administrator, and each one can be disconnected from the same place.

Steps

1Each agent opens Connections and chooses Calendar Sync.
2Tick which of the four sources they want. All four are on by default.
3Press Connect on Google Calendar and sign in.
4A calendar named RealtySlate appears, and fills in within a minute.

Worth knowing before you connect

Limits, direction and cost, stated plainly

The things a brokerage usually finds out later.

Per agent, never per brokerage. Each person connects their own calendar and sees only what they can already open in RealtySlate.

Entries go into a separate calendar you can hide, colour, or delete in one action without touching a personal appointment.

RealtySlate asks only for permission to make its own calendars and manage events on them. It cannot read your existing calendars.

Times are converted to the agent's own timezone. A 2pm showing arrives at 2pm.

One direction. Editing an entry in Google Calendar changes nothing in RealtySlate, and the next update will put it back.

A subscription link is also available for calendar apps that cannot sign in, though it updates on the calendar app's own schedule rather than within a minute.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the Google Calendar integration

Does RealtySlate sync with Google Calendar?

Yes. Each agent connects their own Google Calendar and RealtySlate writes transaction deadlines, company and team events, CRM follow-ups and onboarding tasks into a separate calendar named RealtySlate, updated within about a minute.

Will it clutter my main calendar?

No. Entries go into a separate calendar named RealtySlate, which you can hide, recolour or delete without affecting any personal appointment.

Can RealtySlate read my existing calendar?

No. It requests only the permission to create its own calendars and manage events on those, so your other calendars are not visible to it.

What happens when a showing is cancelled?

The entry is removed from your calendar. That is the main advantage of connecting directly rather than subscribing to a link, because a subscribed calendar may leave cancelled entries in place.

Can each agent choose what appears?

Yes. Transaction deadlines, company and team events, CRM follow-ups and onboarding tasks are four independent choices, made per person.
