Cancelling Your Account

Cancel whenever you like, keep access to the end of the period you paid for, and change your mind right up to the date.

You can cancel yourself

No phone call, no reason required, and nobody will ring you about it. Sign in, go to Company Billing, and choose Cancel Account.

Only the account owner can cancel, because it ends the subscription for everybody on the account.

What happens

Cancelling does not delete anything on the day you click it. It schedules the end of the subscription, which is why changing your mind is easy.

Take your data first — this is the important part

Do this before the close date. Afterwards you will need to contact support to retrieve anything, and some records follow their own retention schedule.

1. Connect Document Backup and let it run

The most complete copy you can take. Connections → Document Backup copies every document into your own Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, in folders you keep and can browse without RealtySlate. If you have never connected it, connect it now and give it time to finish before your close date.

2. Export your records

Export Data downloads contacts, leads and other records as files you can open in a spreadsheet or import into another system.

3. Download your signed documents

Executed copies and their audit certificates can be downloaded from each transaction, or from Signed Documents, which has its own search. These are the records you are most likely to need years from now — do not skip them.

4. Sort out your domain

If you own your domain it stays yours; point it wherever you like after closing. If you used a free RealtySlate address, that address stops working, so save any content you wrote.

Changing your mind

Until the close date arrives, go back to Company Billing → Review or Undo Cancellation and choose Keep My Account. Your subscription simply continues at the same price, with no gap, no new setup and no re-approval. Nothing will have happened.

After the account has closed, reopening is possible but needs support — contact us and we will tell you what is still available.
